  • No single donation reaches more Jewish people in more ways than your gift to the Jewish Federation of Arkansas annual campaign.  We are the only organization that includes and reaches the entire Arkansas Jewish community regardless of location, membership, or affiliation.

  • Thank you to Steve, Susan, and Trip Strauss for creating a fund in memory of their parents Shirley and Sam Strauss to provide initial support for the social work position at Jewish Federation of Arkansas. Our goal is to endow the position and make it permanent.

Your contribution to the Shirley and Sam Strauss Memorial Endowment will ensure that the programs and services provided by our social worker remain available to our community.

  • The Glenn Lowitz Memorial CASE/Family Services fund will be used to provide financial assistance to Jews in need in Arkansas. It has been established in memory of Glenn's long service to JFAR as the chair of the CASE/Family Services committee. A donation acknowledgment, unless otherwise requested, will be sent to Ellen Lowitz.

  • Thanks to a generous gift from the Thalheimer family, Jewish Federation is able to offer scholarships for young adults in Arknasas to study and travel in Israel.

Your contribution will support the work of the Thalheimer Israel Fund in enabling young Arkansans to experience Israel.

  • JFAR works with its umbrella organization, JFNA to support programs in Israel and the Jewish people worldwide. In addition, an independent project may be announced to further our support of the Jewish people around the globe.

  • We know that something magical happens when parents sit down together to read with their children. Your donation ensures that PJ Library can continue to send Jewish children books each month. PJ Library shares stories that help keep our Jewish values and traditions alive. Your donation also goes toward programming for children and families across the state. This fund as been renamed in honor of long-time director, Ellyn Polsky.
